Enter My Silence (2004) - Thoughts and emotions are part of everyday life and yet often their meaning is unclear. This light and moving piece examines the inner workings of seven dancers through a fast-paced environment, in which dancers search for a way to coexist and reveal their own sensibility.

The Search Goes On (2004) - An intense and powerful solo originally choreographed for gurest dancer Nasha Thomas-Schmitt. As Jack Anderson of the New York Times describes it, "a convincing depiction of a struggle both spiritual and physical."
And Nothing But the Truth (2003) - This internal journey involves five women and a man and their conflict with the outside world, while trying to find balance within themselves through chaos, struggles, and discovery. Searching for serenity and understanding through varying trials and tribulations, it is an exploration of personal perseverance. A part of this piece had its world premiere at the Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out Festival.

My Ineffable Heart ~ A Dialog (2003) Following their 2002 collaboration Scratchy Ropes, Von Ussar has re-partnered with poet Corie Feiner (formerly Corie Herman) to fuse movement with poetry, creating a highly unique dance experience. The piece explores the multiple definitions and perspectives of love. It delves into the inner arguments between lovers who rely on each other for value instead of partnership.

Time Shows No Face (2002) An evocative piece set to music of Wojcek Kilar that shifts between lyricism and sharp propulsive ness. Performed by three dancers, the technically challenging piece explores how time and age can make us disregard our prior successes. It is a piece that tries to portray what it means to long for your past.

Scratchy Ropes (2002) a solo piece danced by Meredith McGovern exploring a woman’s journey of struggle and personal triumph. The piece is a fusion of dance and poetry, and features an onstage performance by poet Corie Herman. The piece charts a woman coming to terms with the intensity of one’s will and how she must reconcile between two distinct sides of her self.

Used, Abused, and Unamused (2002) A jaunty and light-hearted work that follows four dancers as they rehearse a piece, which explores the role of a man in a woman’s world. Running Time: 7:30

Past/Present (2001) - A piece that explores migrating to a new land, adapting to a new way of life, and being a stranger uncertain about leaving the old behind. Or, as New York Times reviewer Jack Anderson suggested, a celebration of energy itself. Past/Present was commissioned by the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company in Texas (February 2002).

Hearts Divided (2000) A moving piece of modern jazz unfolding as a suite in three dramatic sections, which Dance Insider called bold, aggressive ballet. The piece uses several different renditions and recordings of the same piece of music in order to investigate emotions within relationships. In 2002, Hearts Divided became part of the repertory of the Ailey Student Showcase Group.

Moments (1999) An important autobiographical piece that reflects the real-life experience of the choreographer upon moving to the United States from the former Yugoslavia. The piece portrays the diversity and chaos that strangers encounter in a new city and utilizes a rainbow of languages within the choreography.
